Former T.C. Williams High School players and coaches from the hit movie " Remember the Titans", including NCCU alumnus Herman Boone, visited the campus on Friday, April 30, 2004. Boone (NCC 1958), who was portrayed in the movie by Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington, reflected on his days as a student, sitting on "The Rail" to watch people pass by.

After the presentation, there was opportunity for student-athletes to have an exchange with the presenters
