Former Virginia State University standout Larry Brooks was been inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame at their 29th Annual Induction Banquet in Portsmouth, VA.
The Prince George, VA native was named Virginia's top small college lineman of 1971.
Brooks graduated from VSU in 1972 and was a 14th round draft choice of the Los Angeles Rams. He was a starter at defensive tickle for ten years and was named All-Pro for five of his ten seasons with the Rams.
Brooks is now an assistant coach with the Seattle Seahawks.
