CARRBORO, NC (Friday, April 14, 2000) - Wet weather conditions forced the 2000 CIAA Men. s Tennis Championship to switch from four outdoor venues in Durham to an indoor facility at the Chapel Hill Tennis Club in Carrboro.
In an uneventful first round, all of the higher seeded teams advanced to the semifinals without losing a game.
The semifinal matches will be contested at 6:30 p.m. on Friday (April 14), and results will be released immediately following the matches.
Weather permitting, play will resume on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at East End Park (Alston Ave.). If weather conditions force play inside again on Saturday (April 15), then action will get underway at 2:30 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Tennis Club.
