Tremayne Gilmore - Livingstone, OL, 6'0, 260, SR, Darlington, SC
Gilmore was instrumental in leading the offensive charge of the Blue Bears that racked up 588 total yards. The Blue Bears had 448 yards on the ground, 140 yards in the air, and scored 6 touchdowns as they defeated Bowie State, 42-14.

Receiver
Shannon Gainey - Livingstone, WR, 6'1, 195, SO, Greensboro, NC
In the game on Saturday, Gainey caught two touchdown receptions for 97 yards, rushed for 21 yards on 5 carries, and accumulated 51 total yards on special teams to help aid in the Blue Bears' victory.

Offensive Back
Darrell Nesbitt - North Carolina Central, QB, 6'2, 185, FR, Columbia, SC
Nesbitt had a tremendous day on the field scoring four rushing touchdowns, including a 70 yard run the 2nd quarter. He also completed 3 of 6 passes for 82 yards and finished the game with 16 carries for 156 total yards.

Defensive Lineman
Chris Gilmore - North Carolina Central, LB, 6'2, 220, SO, Parkton, NC
Gilmore recorded a game-high 11 totals tackles (4 solo, 7 assisted), including 4 for a loss of six yards. He also caught his first career interception and returned it 18 yards as the Eagles defeated Benedict, 28-19.

Defensive Back
Harry Brunson - Bowie State, DB, 6'0, 190, SO, Baltimore, MD
In the game versus Livingstone College, Brunson led the Bulldogs defense attack with 14 total tackles (10 solo, 4 assisted) and had one pass break up.

Rookie
Calvin Bryant - Winston-Salem State, LB, 6'0, 235, FR, Summerville, SC
Bryant assisted the Rams efforts with 9 total tackles (7 solo, 2 assisted), including one tackle for a loss of seven yards and had one sack for a loss of seven yards as Winston-Salem State upset Virginia Union, 17-0.

Specialty
Jim Terry -Livingstone, K, 6'3, 175, JR, Clearwater, FL
Terry punted the ball six times for 218 yards and connected on 6 of 6 extra point attempts as the Blue Bears dominated Bowie State, 42-14, on the gridiron in Saturday's action.

Coach
Kermit Blount - Winston-Salem State
Coach Blount guided the Rams to a victory with an upset over Virginia Union University, 17- 0. The Rams are now 1-0 in the conference and 1-2 overall.
