University, headlines the list of 12 student-athletes named to the 2000
All-CIAA Men’s Tennis Team, as selected by the Central Intercollegiate Athletic
Association (CIAA) Tennis Coaches Association Thursday night.
JCSU’s Wing, an Atlanta, Ga. native who ended the regular season with an unblemished 10-0 record in conference play, was honored as the 2000 CIAA Men’s Tennis Player of the Year.
Others recognized on the All-CIAA Men’s Tennis Team are Justin Gilbert, Garrick Jones, Andrew Momon, Antrone Bohler and McLynn Howard from JCSU; Akin Minnis from Saint Augustine’s College; Samuel Okoya and Jennis Roach from Shaw University; Rashaad Emory and Lamar Jenkins from Virginia State University; and William Hill from Winston-Salem State University.
