St. Aug men and women win five titles at Div II Outdoor Track ChampionshipsMay 29, 2005 Abilene, TX -- Men's and women's teams from St. Augustine's College picked up national championships in five events at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.SAC's Adrian Findlay win the 400m hurdles. Fabian Hutchinson finished first in the long jump and Unyime Akpan won the 110m hurdles. The Falcoln men finished third overall with 70 points. Abilene Christian won the title with 109 points, 25 better than runner-up Adams State. St. Augustine's women picked up two national titles enroute their fourth place finish. Johnsie Liles won the 400m dash and joined teammates Erica Young, Kim Moore and Jessica Render to win the 4X400m relay. Lincoln (MO) University won their third straight women's national championship with 108 points to 53 points for runner-up Cal State-Bakersfield. The ACU women finished third with 45.50 points, while St. Augustine's was fourth with 42 points. Nineteen men and 17 women from CIAA schools earned All-America status at the meet.
