Shaw to host Women's RegionalMarch 7, 2005 Shaw University will host the 2005 NCAA Women's South Atlantic Regional March 11,12 and 14. This will be the second-straight year that Shaw will host the regional and all games will be played in Spaulding Gymnasium. The Shaw Lady Bears (29-1), the number one seed in this year's South Atlantic Regional Tournament will play eighth-seeded S.C.-Aiken of the Peach Belt Conference in the first round of the tournament. Other match-ups in tournament include: second-seeded Clayton College and State University of the Peach Belt Conference taking on seventh-seeded Newberry of the South Atlantic Conference; third-seeded Carson-Newman of the South Atlantic Conference taking on sixth-seeded seeded Fayetteville State of the CIAA; and fourth-seeded Columbus State of the Peach Belt Conference taking on Wingate of the South Atlantic Conference. Tickets are $3 for students w/I.D. and $7 general admission, per session and will go on sale beginning Tuesday, March 8 at 9:00 a.m. The ticket office is located on the third floor in Tyler Hall.
