FSU Lady Broncos to play in South Atlantic Regional

The Fayetteville State University Lady Broncos were one of the eight teams that received bids to the 2005 NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional Basketball Tournament to be held March 11, 12 and 14, 2005 at Shaw University’s Spaulding Gymnasium. The Lady Broncos will take the floor Friday, March 11 at 1:00 p.m. when they face third-seeded Carson Newman University of the South Atlantic Conference. The Lady Broncos are ranked sixth in the region. This is Coach Eric Tucker fourth trip to the NCAA South Atlantic Regional, reaching the semifinal s in 1997 and 2003. There will be two sessions on Friday. Saturday’s semifinal games are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Monday’s championship game will be played at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets for the 2005 South Atlantic Regional Tournament can be purchased at game site. Tickets are $3.00 for students with a current school identification and $7.00 general admission.
