Bowie State To Host Men's Basketball South Atlantic Regionals

For the first time in school history, the Bulldogs of Bowie State University will host the 2005 NCAA Men's Basketball South Atlantic Regionals. Top seeded Bowie State will face Tusculum (#8 Seed) Saturday, March 12th in the A.C. Jordan Arena at a time to be determined.Other Saturday matchups include the CIAA champions of Virginia Union (#2 Seed) against Catawba (#7 Seed), Winston-Salem State (#6 Seed) will take on South Carolina - Upstate (#3 Seed) and Columbus State (#5 Seed), winners of the Peach Belt Conference title will battle with the defending NCAA Champions of Kennesaw State (#4 Seed).
Game times will be released soon.
As Bowie State is hosting the regional, a special area, Tourney Central, will be posted on The Bulldogs Online. It will have the pairings, press releases, participating team information, and photos taken during tournament play. Look for it early in tournament week.
