CIAA Announces 2004 Softball All-Conference and All-Rookie Team

Charlotte, NC… The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced
its 2004 All-Conference and All-Rookie Teams and Players of the Year as selected
by the Softball Coaches Association. Tiya Hines, of Virginia State University
has been honored as the 2004 CIAA Player of the Year, while Clarisse Steans
of North Carolina Central University took the 2004 CIAA Rookie of the Year
title.
The Western Division Champions, Winston-Salem State University and Eastern
Division Champions were also recognized at the Softball Social on Thursday,
April 15 on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University.
