Shaw's Greenup earns spot in Bobcats Mini-Camp

Shaw All-American forward Anthony Greenup will participate in the NBA expansion Charlotte Bobcats rookie free agent mini-camp. Greenup will participate in the mini-camp June 29 – July 3 and if he excels there he will play on one of the Bobcats summer league teams beginning July 6.Greenup made the mini-camp after an impressive open tryout held by the Bobcats,
June 26-27. From Saturday’s initial group of free agents, the basketball
staff picked 20 players to participate in an “All-Star” game. After
the game, four players were chosen to move on to the team’s mini-camp,
with Greenup being one of those players. He was the only player in the All-Star
game to record a double-double with 14 point and 10 rebounds on 7-of-10 shooting.
