Saint Augustine's College Track Team gears up for the NCAA's

The Saint Augustine's College men's and women's track teams have been among the
premier Division II programs in the country since 1983, claiming 26 national
championships under head coach George "Pup" Williams.
The Falcons are gearing up for the 2004 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field
Championships, which will be held on May 27-29, at Hilmer Lodge Stadium on the
campus of Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California. California State Polytechnic
University, Pomona will serve as host
The Falcons have won nine outdoor national championships (2001, 1998, 1995, 1994,
1993, 1992, 1991, 1990, and 1989) and the Lady Falcons have won four outdoor
national titles (2002, 2001, 2000, and 1997). The men's and women's teams finished
in second place in the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 2003, but this is the year
the Falcons and Lady Falcons are the leading contenders for first place.
In addition to all of the team success, Saint Augustine's College has produced
more than 300 All-American student-athletes.
