CIAA Places Eight on All-Region Basketball Teams

A total of eight CIAA student-athletes were recently named to the 2003-2004 Daktronics South Atlantic All-Region Teams.

On the women’s side, Tiona Beatty (NC Central), Kiarsha Curtis (Shaw), and Allyson Hardy (Bowie State) were voted to the All-Region Second Team.

For the men, the CIAA had the most representation of any conference in the region, placing five out of the ten members. Making the All-Region First Team are Anton Jenifer (Bowie State), Anthony Greenup (Shaw) and Desmond Peoples (St. Augustine’s). Jonathan Harris (Elizabeth City St.) and Letheal Cook (Bowie State) were named to the All-Region Second Team.

The member of the All-Region First Team will go on to the Daktronics All-American Ballot which will be announce later this month. The following is a complete list of the 2003-04 Daktronics South Atlantic All-Region First and Second Teams:
