meeting to consider issues vital to the future of Division II.

Championships
Many have thought about conducting an NCAA
championships festival,
but nobody has done it — until now. Division II will take the plunge
May 12-16 in Orlando, Florida.

Community service
Division II’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is
the first NCAA group to organize
a national drive for charity. The result will
be a substantial
check for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The Division II Academic Requirements Committee is planning to membership to
test membership attitudes toward the one-time transfer exception.
