Bowie State Begins Playoff Quest at High Noon

BOWIE, MD, ---The Bowie State University Bulldogs will get to play a rare afternoon game as they open the 2003 NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional on Friday.

The Bulldogs (26-4) were awarded the No. 2 seed in the tournament behind the host Cougars of Columbus State University and will play No. 7 seed Lenoir-Rhyne College (22-7) in the opening round game on Friday at 12 noon.

Should the Bulldogs advance, their next game would be on Saturday at 6 p.m. and the championship game would be Monday at 7 p.m.
