2003 All-CIAA; All-Rookie Baseball Teams Released

The 2003 All-CIAA and All-Rookie teams have been announced as voted by the CIAA Baseball Coaches Association.

Milton Redd, a first baseman for Shaw University has been named 2003 CIAA Baseball Player of the Year. The Wilmington, NC native receives this honor for the second consecutive year.

Saint Augustine’s first baseman Charles Whitaker was voted the 2003 CIAA Rookie of the Year. Whitaker, a native of Phoenix, AZ, along with the other honorees will be recognized at the Annual Tournament Baseball Social Wednesday night on the campus of Virginia State University.
