2002 Football Season Launches at Annual Press Conference & Luncheon

Petersburg, VA… The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association will officially kick-off its 2002 football season with its Annual Football Press Conference and Luncheon at Virginia State University's Jones Dining Hall, July 25, 2002 at 11:30am. The All-CIAA Pre-Season Team and Predicted Order of Finish will be revealed along with each Head Coach's thoughts and predictions for the upcoming year.With the reinstatement of Saint Augustine's football, which discontinued their football program in 1965, (6-1-1, 8-1-1) CIAA fans and opponents alike are looking forward to a season full of surprises, intense competition and thrilling outcomes.
